A contractor would include any person who visits the College on a regular basis - at least once p
er term. It is important that the College is compliant with Student Protection and Workplace Health and Safety legislation in relation to contractors at the College.
All contractors must complete Student Protection and Workplace Health and Safety Training and sign in/sign out at the College upon arrival/departure. A College issued Contractor Badge must be worn during your time at the College.

Blue Card - Paid Employees
The welfare of all students at St Thomas More College is paramount. All students have the right to expect that the College will protect them from physical, emotional, sexual or verbal harm.
All staff and
are trained in their Student Protection responsibilities and the College upholds the Student Protection policies and procedures implemented by Brisbane Catholic Education.
Volunteers play an integral role in supporting many of the activities the College provides. It is important that the College is compliant with Student Protection and Workplace Health and Safety legislation in relation to volunteers at the College.
The Queensland Family and Child Commission require that all adults in paid or volunteer work with children undergo employment screening and become holders of a Positive Notice Blue Card; with the exception of parents and caregivers of current students at St Thomas More College.
All volunteers must complete Student Protection and Workplace Health and Safety training and sign in/sign out at the College upon arrival/departure. A College issued Visitor Badge must be worn during your time at the College.
