​Contractors 

​A contractor would include any person who visits the College on a regular basis - at least once per term. It is important that the College is compliant with Student Protection and Workplace Health and Safety legislation in relation to contractors at the College. All contractors must complete Student Protection and Workplace Health and Safety Training and sign in/sign out at the College upon arrival/departure. A College issued Contractor Badge must be worn during your time at the College.

Privacy Policy & Cancellation Notice

Our school takes very seriously its obligations regarding the privacy of information which the school collects about students and parents.  The BCE Privacy Policy and BCE Collection Notice have recently been updated, as a result of amendments to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).  The updated Privacy Policy can be found on our school website, the school handbook and the BCE Public Website.  The BCE Collection Notice Form is included in the enrolment forms used by the school.  Please contact the Principal if you have any questions.

Student Protection 

The welfare of all students at St Thomas More College is paramount. All students have the right to expect that the College will protect them from physical, emotional, sexual or verbal harm.

All staff and volunteers are trained in their Student Protection responsibilities and the College upholds the Student Protection policies and procedures implemented by Brisbane Catholic Education.


Volunteering ​​

Volunteers play an integral role in supporting many of the activities the College provides. It is important that the College is compliant with Student Protection and Workplace Health and Safety legislation in relation to volunteers at the College.


The Queensland Family and Child Commission require that all adults in paid or volunteer work with children undergo employment screening and become holders of a Positive Notice Blue Card; with the exception of parents and caregivers of current students at St Thomas More College.


All volunteers must complete Student Protection and Workplace Health and Safety training and sign in/sign out at the College upon arrival/departure. A College issued Visitor Badge must be worn during your time at the College.​
