 Primary Cluster Competition

The 2016 Primary Cluster Competition came to close on Friday 10th June with the Presentation Assembly held at the College.

The Primary Cluster Competition is an inter-school sporting competition for local Catholic primary schools, which is organised by Year 11 students undertaking a Certificate III in Sport and Recreation.
 
The Primary Cluster is a win-win for both primary schools and STMC. For six weeks during Term 2, primary school students are able to compete in a fun interschool competition in either netball, oztag or soccer each Friday afternoon. At the same time, Year 11 students run a large scale sporting competition and put into practice the theoretical learning of the Certificate course.
 
This year we welcomed a total of 852 primary school students consisting of 82 teams from the following six schools:

The Primary Cluster Competition and Year 11 Sport and Recreation students were also featured in the Southern Star. We look forward to the 2017 Primary Cluster Competition!
