Involvement in social justice and service learning initiatives is a core expression of the mission of Catholic schools, encouraging students to live out their faith through meaningful action. The College integrates social justice into both the curriculum and co-curricular activities. Students explore issues through Catholic Social Teaching and reflect on ethical responses to real-world challenges. Programs like Vinnies fundraising, Edmund Rice Camps, and volunteering at Sunnybank Special School offer hands-on service opportunities. Senior students can also earn a Certificate II in Active Volunteering by completing 30 hours of community service. These initiatives aim to develop compassionate leaders committed to systemic change.
