The College's comprehensive sport program encapsulates the “TEAM More" motto and spirit: Together Everyone Achieves More.
The program includes a wide variety of intra-school, inter-school, and representative sporting opportunities including College carnival and gala days.
The College holds three intra-school sporting carnivals throughout the academic year and these act as starting platforms for students to represent the College at the South East Colleges Association (SECA) and Metropolitan West (Met West) competitions.
The College SECA Carnivals are held for swimming in Term 1, cross country in Term 2, and track and field in Term 3.
St Thomas More College participates in the South East Colleges Association (SECA) Sports inter-school competition, held each Thursday during Terms 2 and 3. St Thomas More College competes against nine other secondary schools in the following sports:
The College also offers sports and activities for students to participate in instead of the SECA Sports Competition.
The SECA Gala Days provide students an opportunity to participate in sports outside those offered in the SECA inter-school competition. Trials and training take place a few weeks before the Gala Day. The Gala Days are a one-day event in the following sports:
